Hello! It's April here, and I'm going to be interviewing all of the Whatnot writers! These are no formal interviews though, expect plenty of funny antics, interruptions from other members and bad jokes (none by me though, I am hilarious... can't say the same for others). So I'll be asking a set of the same, or similar questions to every member, and of course one of them will have to interview me eventually. I also probably won't be talking much except for the questions, because I'm too busy trying to write everything down! Now without further ado, let's start with Estrella.
1. What is your role in Whatnot?
April: Okay, I'm just going to start. What is your role in Whatnot?
Estrella: Uhh... can I type the answers down when I get home ?
Note: (we were in school and I was writing down everything she was saying)
April: But that's not how interviews work...
Estrella: I know, but I have a fear of rats!
April: There are no rats here...
Estrella: I'm talking to one right now.
2. Who is your favorite writer of Whatnot, aside from yourself?
April: Haha, very funny. Next question: Who's your favorite writer/ member of Whatnot. There's a right answer *subtly points to self*.
Estrella: Certainly not you *smirks*.
April: Are you okay? Your face is twitching, you look sick.
Estrella: Only because I'm looking at you.
Serket: *watches April write like a creep*
Serket: Wait April stop. *draws April's hand*
April: *sighs*
3. What's going on in your life right now?
April: Can I continue now?
Serket: *nods*
April: Estrella, what's going on in your life right now? Estrella: What's the what?
Serket: *holds up picture of April's hand*
April: *thumbs up*
April: Okay, let me try this again, what's going on in your life right now?
Estrella: I’m currently trying to legalise human-food marriages. It’s a very difficult job. April: Haha. But seriously.
Estrella: I am serious- Never mind. Hmm, okay well I like to read and listen to music with my time, ‘cause we’ve established I can’t be productive to save my life.
April: Speaking of productivity, how are you doing in school?
Estrella: Well I like to annoy people with pick-up lines and jokes, which are definitely funny.
April: Funny jokes, you say? I’ll be the judge of that, tell me one of these ‘funny’ jokes.
Estrella: Wait, let me think if a good joke.
Summer: *laughs* You can’t.
Estrella: How much did the chimney cost?
Summer: I don’t know.
Estrella: Nothing. It was on the house. Is this funny?
Summer: *shakes head* I’ve gotta be honest. Anyway it’s so cold here.
Estrella: Uh, no it’s not.
Summer: Yes it is! Touch my hand, its freezing.
Estrella: It’s not freezing, it’s ugly.
April: And that’s coming from the girl with baby hands.
Estrella: *gasps* That’s Spectre!
April: *sighs* Back to the interview.
4. What makes you special or different from the other members?
Estrella: My talent to…
Serket: Make people cringe?
Estrella: Insulting you and April at every possible situation? My talent is insulting people.
April: You know for it to be a talent, you need to be good at it.
Estrella: *can’t think of a good comeback and looks to Summer for help*
Summer: *reads book and calls April funny*
Estrella: What no, I’m supposed to be the funny one!
April: You’ll always be the delusional one though.
Serket: ESTRELLA WHAT’S THE TIME?
Estrella: The same time it was the last six times you asked!
April: Back. To. The. Interview.
5. What are you going to do next in Whatnot?
Estrella: *doesn’t hear April and starts screeching some song*
Serket: For the love of god, shut up.
Summer: Oh no, what animal is dying?
April: Estrella, answer the question!
Estrella: What question?
April: *asks question again*
Estrella: Ooh, I was planning on starting an advice column sort of thing but for book reviews and sharing some playlists I’ve created, instead of studying, and publishing a narrative I wrote.
Note: The book review column and narrative writings are published now! You can check them out in the links attached at the end of the article.
April: Ahh I can’t wait for those! Finally we’re done.
